NETWORK CABLING

Whatever your needs we can provide network cable installation anywhere you may need the service. The cable types we can install are Cat5e (standard bandwidth) or Cat6/Cat6a (high capacity bandwidth). Our qualified installation engineers are able to provide a professional service and we guarantee any installation meets the industry standards.

FIBRE OPTIC CABLING

Fibre Optic cabling allows faster, higher capacity data transmission over greater distances. Fibre optic cables can run just about anywhere from building to building, through existing ducting system and under raised floors. We can provide the service for installation of OM4 & OM5 fibre cabling as these are the latest standards in the industry for optical transmission.

WIFI INSTALLATION

We provide infrastructure for and install Wireless Access Points (WAPs). Lantel have been installing Cisco WIFI units for many years and we have recently been involved in a huge WiFi upgrade project for one of our clients in the education sector, providing new and upgraded AP units across more than 25 different buildings. FAULT SERVICES

If there is any problem with a cable, our engineers will be able to identify any faults as well as repair them. We deal with fault services in almost everyday situations, using correct tools and products we can help solve any faults you may have, as well as coming up with a solution to help prevent any further faults.

PATCH LEADS

We are able to supply many different types of patch leads. Ranging in colour and length. Common colours are White, Grey, Purple, Blue, Red, Green and Yellow.

Patch lead lengths range from 0.5m to 10m long.

COMMS EQUIPMENT

Comms cabinets, routers, switches and most comms equipment can be heavy, therefore we can provide the service of installation for such equipment. Installing comms cabinets into Hub rooms, mounting routers and switches into a comms cabinet, all of which will be done to an industry standard.

PDU's

Power Distribution Units are something that we can supply and install. Most PDU's are requested by the client and we will supply and install. Some of the PDU's that we use for installation are Olson, Eaton and Austin Hughes.

AMAC's

Adds, Moves and Changes are a common service that we provide. This can be installing new data outlets, relocating existing data outlets and even changing the complete layout of any given area. Desk service moves are also something we are very competent in, this includes the relocation of floorboxes and floor grommets.

FLOORBOXES

FLOOR GROMMETS

Floorboxes are something that we are able to supply and install. When doing AMAC's we are competent at moving and installing new floorboxes to provide data services for desk changes. The floorbox brands that we install are MK Ackermann and CMD Powerplan.

Similarly to floorboxes, floor grommets are something that we are able to supply and install. When doing AMAC's we are competent at moving and installing new grommets to provide data services for desk changes. These are particularly useful where space is limited or only cable access is needed.

TESTING & LABELLING

CONTAINMENT

When testing cable installations we use an industry standard Fluke Tester for both copper and fibre cables. Our engineers are qualified Fluke Test Technicians.

When labelling we use an agreed labelling schematic that works with us and the client. Usually, labels will include a floor level and a reference number as bare minimum.

There are various types of containment that we can provide, these include;

Flexible conduit in sizes 20mm, 25mm and 32mm.

Galvanised steel conduit in sizes 20mm, 25mm and 32mm.

All other types of containment such as mini trunking, kopex, dado, cable trays, basket trays and cable matting are also available and are fully catered for to meet your requirements.

CABLE MANAGEMENT

We provide and install a range of different styles of cable management. Cable trays for cable installation and routing. Management bars for patch leads in cabinets, Kopex and sock for cable protection. Plus a host of other styles of cable management.
